Christian Education includes new children’s program on the second and fourth Sundays of the month

By Deacon Jim Jenkins

Our educational program for the children of St. Paul’s parish is centered around “The Biggest Story Bible Storybook.” We have Sunday school twice a month during the 10:30 service.

For July & August the Kid’s Sunday School for school-aged children will meet on July 14th & 28th, August 11th & 25th during the 10:30 service.

The children will go to the classroom at the beginning of the service and return during the Passing of the Peace to sit with their families. On alternate Sundays, Mother Allison will be offering a children’s sermon.

We are using the materials that cover the life of Jesus (i.e., the Gospels.);  you’ll find the artwork both impressive and engaging.

To make this important ministry work we will need volunteers who will be willing to teach Sunday School for a month at a time (i.e., two 40- minute sessions). Given the requirements of the Safe Church program, we will need two adults who have completed Safe Church training to cover each session. However, if we have several teams, no one will have to cover consecutive months.
