Digging in the Dirt

Those with sharp eyes may have noticed some activity near the fence behind the parish hall. We are clearing a space to make a new garden with plants that are favorites of butterflies and bees. My original idea had been to plant flowers that could be used on the altar in the summer months, but the idea of opening a “rest stop” for migrating butterflies and hungry bees seemed too good to pass up.
